Whom to report when several days after a 'file submission' displayed status is 'In progress'...
I have the same problem when I submit several samples. Most of them are undetected miners.
Microsoft said detection for them is included in their PUA protection feature, but actually no detection for them is included. After a while, the problem occurred and I lost my access to the details.

My apologies for being unable to update this thread earlier and anyway many thanks for sharing your experience too.
Since yesterday I've been able to check that status of my issue is still 'In Progress' and thus has remained unchanged since Sat 29 Jun when I created it.
Was your Sat 6 July issue already fixed ?
P.S. ITMT I've also already left some more messages via same 'Provide feedback' smiley icon from my submission history page, while also hoping that someone may finally catch them and since I've also verified that properly contacting MS Support about a Submission ID created from 'Microsoft Security Intelligence' -> Submissions -> 'Submit a file' seems quite uneasy so I've also tried to provide additional feedback via a small 'Give us feedback' option that I found available after my 'Sign In' and selecting 'Contact Microsoft' (but in lower side of page just right above bottom option items 'What's new', 'Microsoft Store', 'Education', 'Business', and just immediately above 'Developer & IT', 'Company') while also confirming what I verified (that no clear MS Support option really seem available for issue I've experienced and described above).
Regards
Rob

It doesn't matter. I can't stay on this page or always check my mailbox, too.
Yes, if the problem occurs, the status will be 'In progress' until the submission removed from your submission history.
Unfortunately, the function Provide Feedback' smiley icon seems unable to work. The problem has been there for least 4 years. I used to provide feedback by it at first, but nothing changed. I also contact some Microsoft engineers, but the problem still exists.
P.S.
From what I've seen, the problem happens when someone tries to submit several types of miners or the file has been detected as Misleading:Win32/Lodi!MSR.

Thanks again for your additional updated details. Basically you too are in my same situation and here's why.
What I submitted was a direct reference to an application still downloadable from GitHub since 01/2015 that I downloaded on 01/2017 but even never used it.So because of this when submitting it (I even directly referenced its GitHub path from where my MS Edge browser re-downloaded it again) I've obviously chosen 'Incorrectly detected as PUA (potentially unwanted application)' and BTW its detection was indeed 'Misleading:Win32/Lodi' too.
But because of what you told me and I directly verified (via MS Support site even after 'Sign In') there's no direct way to find any real self help for just being "Unable to access 'Submission ID' details" and so like 2 days ago I really doubted that me trying to open any support case related to 'Windows' (which would have been the only option for me since I'm still using MS Security Essentials) or even during a new web Chat support interaction might have really let me (or us) reach an appropriate Support Engineer being able to further escalate issue.
So once again I've decided to use same small 'Give us feedback' option that even after some minor access difficulties already solved after few minutes was (and is) still available (only after 'Sign In') into same 'Contact Microsoft' page (in lower side of page just right above bottom option items 'What's new', 'Microsoft Store', 'Education', 'Business', and just immediately above 'Developer & IT', 'Company') where once again I was also able to reference your last answer from this thread & share it as screenshot and once again I also re-confirmed them they can contact me back via email if needed.
(And BTW even before I really completed my 'Sign In', I also provided them an additional feedback asking to widen text input area available to end users because in it I was unable to paste in what I also tried again to submit via that same 'Provide feedback' smiley icon, that while not yet signed in seem to work better, since its 'Send us feedback' frame can always self-close itself after displaying a 'Thanks for your feedback' status message, than while already signed into my 'MS Security Intelligence' in order to properly see my 'Submission history', and when such possible malfunction happens for its 'Send us feedback' frame, it never self-closes itself even after displaying a 'Thanks for your feedback' status message anyway).
P.S. Anyway if the same issue(s) might happen again to you also in future, I suggest you to try to report what you experienced using that same small 'Give us feedback' option only available after own 'Sign In' into same 'Contact Microsoft' page (in lower side of page just right above bottom option items 'What's new', 'Microsoft Store', 'Education', 'Business', and just immediately above 'Developer & IT', 'Company').
By so doing let's just hope that who's then receiving such feedback might hopefully be able to do more actions to definitely fix such issues ASAP.
Best Regards
Rob
