WDSI Submission Review Has Been Pending for 10 Days
I submitted the application I developed to WDSI for review because the Microsoft Defender SmartScreen warning appears when running it. I would like the application to be added to the virus database so that this warning no longer appears, but the review has still not been completed after 10 days. Could you please help me?

The SmartScreen prompt is not the same as a Defender Antivirus detection, so a clean-file verdict does not simply add the application to a virus-definition database. SmartScreen evaluates file-hash and publisher reputation; signed new binaries can remain “unrecognized” while reputation develops. Microsoft does not offer developers a general allow list. Wait for the current submission’s final determination; do not resubmit the same hash. Confirm you submitted the exact warned binary as a software developer and selected Microsoft Defender SmartScreen. Then use the status page and developer contact option when a final result appears. Sign every release with the same trusted publisher identity, timestamp it, and do not modify files after signing. Unsigned builds restart reputation. Microsoft Store publishing most reliably avoids SmartScreen download warnings. Microsoft does not publish a fixed review or reputation threshold, so nobody in this forum can guarantee when the prompt will disappear.
