Run AV scan on Mac Devices

Hi,

 

Is it possible to Run AV scan on Mac device from Security Center in ATP Defender for Endpoints? At the moment this feature is greyed-out.

    Hello Davor, thank you for your question

    The feature for triggering a scan remotely from Microsoft Defender Security Center is not yet implemented for MacOS. This is currently on our roadmap.

      I have real time protection enabled and the feature is still greyed out.

        That was according to MSFT rep, so IDK. Gonna assume Cory is right on this one

    You can run a scan from the MDE portal on macOS. To do this, you first need to enable real-time protection.
