Hello Team,
Do we have following features in MDE to confirm whether those URL, File are malicious or not.
1) URL Scanning
2) File Scanning
3) Hash Value

Naresh_Badgujar depends on what you mean by scanning, but sounds like you might be talking about smartscreen and\or network protection.
rahuljindal .... I am asking can we do manually url scanning.
E.g. I have an url or file, now I wanted to scan it to check whether it is malicious or not, like we do in virus total or other open source platform.
Is such option available in MDE??
- As far as I know, url analysis only works when clicked or has some sort interaction. You will need to have components within web protection configured for this to work effectively. For file based again it will depend on what all you have configured as part of your AV, EDR settings together with other MDE components like ASR. Manual scanning from the console works at a device level as a whole. No way to single out a scan against an individual file as far as I know.
