MacOS reporting logged in user as "Root"

We have a couple issues we're working through with MDE on MacOS. First, it is occasionally reporting the logged in user as "root", even though that is not enabled for interactive login. Also, our devices are managed from Intune/MEM, but the "Managed by" seems to be either "Workgroup", "Unknown" or "AAD Joined". In theory, they should all be AAD Joined, but they're not. I know MDE on Mac is fairly young, but this is becoming frustrating.

    I see the same and agree... it is very frustrating! Please MS team, get this macOS support up to par for user usage mapping!

      Goddin-Dp My Microsoft engineer decided my ticket regarding this issue is best to handle as a "Feature Request" vs a bug. I don't necessarily agree with that, but as long as it gets fixed, I don't care. Regardless, it is still on-going.
