Endpoint menu missing in settings in security center

Hello,

I'm trying to understand while endpoint menu is missing in security center. (security.microsoft.com).

I currently have a Microsoft 365 E5 Security License but I can't access to endpoint menu.

I'm currently logging with a global admin account with the "Microsoft 365 E5 Security" license assigned but I can't access to the endpoint menu at all.

Am I doing something wrong? My current license is a trial license, could be the issue (I don't think so)? Thanks

I am having the same problem not seeing the Endpoint menu. I have a Microsoft Defender for Endpoint P2 license so I assume the Endpoint menu would come along with that. Any help?

Just in case this helps anyone else. I had the same problem, I thought I had a Microsoft 365 E5 license too.

Turns out I'd purchased Office 365 E5 instead. Turns out this doesn't include Defender for Endpoint.

    Oops.

Swapped for Microsoft 365 E5 and about a day later the Endpoints menu eventually appeared in the Security Center.

Well done Microsoft for having such similar names for your products. Again.

Why not just have a tiers? e.g. Microsoft 365 C1, C2 etc. for consumers and E1, .... E5 etc. for Enterprise?

While you're at it, please do something about:

    Outlook.com

    Outlook (New)

    Outlook (Classic)

We don't need two Outlook desktop apps. Just one. That works properly. You know like has Contacts that work everywhere - on phones (Android, iOS) & Desktop apps and sync across all services e.g. Google Contacts, Outlook etc.

    Hi Sara2022

Thank you for posting your question. If this is a brand new license that you just added and had not been leveraging Microsoft Defender for Endpoint previously in this tenant, then it must prepare your MDE features before "Endpoints" will appear under the settings menu.

To do so, from the main screen at security.microsoft.com, on the menu on the left, you should see an Endpoints drop-down. Select any item under it and you should see a screen that says preparing your environment. You can also do initiate this by selecting something like Incidents or Hunting.

      1) Goto  security.microsoft.com

      2) Select Endpoint and wait here for 5 minutes

      3) then refres the browser - Select Setting- and you will find it
