EICAR File Test File On MAC OS not working

Hello

We onboarded a MAC OS on Defender for endpoint and it is showing real time protection as enabled but when we download the EICAR test file it is not being detected. Even when we do a manually scan no results where the EICAR file is:

Any ideas what could be wrong?
