DFE Server Licencing
Can someone please help /update material.
You can currently licencing servers within MDE through the following:
Defender for Cloud /& Arc
Defender for Business Servers
Which is well documented.
However if you remember, Microsoft removed the Defender for Servers (Standalone) SKU last year which forced user to use consumption based model if enterprise instead of "per user".
Microsoft have now rectified this and placed the SKU "Defender for Servers (Standalone)" back on the pricefile for CSP's to purchase.
However the documentation on ALL the Microsoft docs does not reflect this at all.
Please see reference - https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/security/defender-endpoint/minimum-requirements?view=o365-worldwide#licensing-requirements
Can anyone shed some light?
Thank you.

RioHindle Hello from the Defender for Cloud portal navigate to the environment settings and select the subscription where your servers are located and in the servers section click on change plan than you can see 2 options with the price for each plan per server.

- RioHindleCopper ContributorYes, I’ve I understand there are 2 plans in Defender for cloud.
However Microsoft have now re released the standalone “defender for server” licence which they deprecated last year as its seat based and not consumption.
