Defender for endpoint on Hyper-V Cluster Server 2016
Hi all,
we have installed on some servers the onboarding and installation packages as described in the MS documentation. Now we see this devices for e.g. 4 times in the console with onboarded, but sensor inactive and the 2 other with sensor health but can be onboarded.
After some time of thinking we found out, that these are server running on a Hyper-V cluster and are clones and the Network Mac address is set to dynamic.
How could we onboarding these devices? Could it be done by using the onboard non-persistent virtual desktop infrastructure?
Thanks for your feedback.
