Defender for endpoint device config error

We have on boarded 1500+ devices (windows servers and windows 10/11) to MDE however for more than 100 devices we are getting below configuration error in the MDE security portal when checking device details:

This device has a configuration enforcement error:

Verify that the Microsoft Endpoint Manager tenant has been configured to allow Microsoft Defender for Endpoint to manage security configuration settings and the https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=2184603.

We checked on the portal and found that the setting is already enabled. However not sure how to fix this error on defender portal.
