Defender for Endpoint configuration of settings for server
Hello everyone,
I am evaluating to use Defender for Endpoint on our Windows Server systems. For this I search for a way to configure the settings of the Defender and found only the way to use PowerShell or GPO and nothing like the "Endpoint Manager" for Clients Systems which are managed with Intune.
Is there a way, to configure the settings for Defender for Endpoint in a central place?
Kind regards.
You may use the following way to manage Windows Defender:
- Microsoft Intune
- Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager
- Group Policy
- PowerShell cmdlets
- Windows Management Instrumentation (WMI)
- The mpcmdrun.exe utility

ChristianFrielingsdorf Hello, yes, you can use SCCM (System Center Configuration Manager) to apply policies/settings for servers.
