Defender ATP and WVD Windows 10 Multiuser

Can someone share how to best deploy ATP into Windows Virtual Desktop / Windows 10 MultiUser?   The documentation regarding VDI doesn't call out this scenario.   Thanks   Darren

Enroll the VM with Azure Security Center, and that provides you with a MD ATP license as part of ASC.

infused-dan what If we are using ATP for our user machines? Was hoping to have the agent report into that console?

    DAsnow No issue with that. It will report into the same console as your workstations if you configure the ASC agent correctly. You'll just also receive telemetry in the ASC portal too.

     

    I believe WVD uses the same onboarding script as Windows 10. If you were running Server 2012 (possibly 2016) you need to configure the Microsoft Monitoring Agent to report to the Log Analytics workspace associated with MD ATP.

     

    Summary: pay for ASC. Run the WIndows 10 onboarding script in WVD. You're good to go with a single portal.
