can we take two different plan Microsoft defender for endpoint
Can we take two different plans(Microsoft Defender for endpoints) for workstation and servers (like for workstation will take our existing plan 1 and servers will manage by plan 2) in a same enviorment.
If this is possible then what are the challenges will face before and after migration.

- Licensing is from a compliance perspective. You just need to make sure that your subscription has adequate licenses assigned. So in your case enough plan 1 licenses for your users and enough plan 2 purchased for number of servers meant to be onboarded.
- So you mean to say it is feasible to take two plans according to endpoints, but can you please help me that what challenges will face using two plans in a same environment
- There are no challenges involved as far as I know. Your scenario will come under mixed mode and you can setup your tenant the same way.
