Assistance with Windows Defender Blocking Software
Hi, the company I work for develops and sells an Excel add-in which is coded in VBA and uses macros. Windows Defender blocks this software from opening for some users. Is there a way to whitelist the software for all users so it does not have to be done individually?

DTilley1030 it just seems you haven't already tried to submit your Excel add-in application files via 'WDSI Submit a file' public web page, by using the specific [ Software developer ] button that is meant for 'Software providers wanting to validate detection of their products' and obviously after reading the official 'submission guidelines', right ? 0;-)
HTHed too, and if it really did then please feel also very free to mark this post as a solution... Thx in advance
- rahuljindalBronze ContributorIs it the Defender ASR for macro that is blocking? If yes, then you can put it in audit mode or set it to not configured all together.
