Sharing Group Files is not using durable links
So, I'd like to find out if these sharing scenarios are intentionally not using durable links, or if these mechanisms just haven't been updated yet:
- Adding a Group File (Cloud Attachment) in Outlook 2016 is not using a durable link in the email itself
- Sharing a Group File (view/edit - not the restricted one) with a member that is not part of the group, the generated email is also not using a durable links
The file still shows up in the recipients OneDrive > Shared with Me, but the emails links are dead as soon as I rename that file in the original location.
IMHO, it something that has not been updated yet and should be updated thinking in the Modern Team Sites concept cc Mark-Kashman cfiessinger
