Inconsistency between groups team sites created in SharePoint compared to groups created in Outlook
I have noticed an inconsistancy between groups created in the SharePoint landing page (https://xxxx.sharepoint.com/_layouts/15/sharepoint.aspx) compared to those created in Outlook (https://outlook.office.com/owa/#path=/mail/action/createmoderngroup)...
In groups created in Outlook, if you create a task list, the ribbon is shown at the top of the page - see image below:
Whereas the group created in SharePoint doesn't display the ribbon or any way to enable it that I can find.
Obviously in this situation we need access to the ribbon as most of the functionality hasnt been built into the modern interface.
Does anyone know how we can change this behaviour?

- AFAIK, there is no way to change this and I agree something is wrong here because the user experience should be the same no matter if you create a Group from OWA or if you create a moderm team site from the SharePoint landing page
