Afaik that's the expected behavior, this functionality has always been very limited. You can forward the message to the "correct" group/delete it in the current one.

thank you for your answer. It is unbelievable, that the Drag & Drop Function is not available in M365 Groups. That makes our workaround very uncomfortable. I don´t understand why Microsoft set the Public Folders eol and have no smiliar tool. We are really unhappy with the limitations of the M365 Groups 😞
