Email invites to public group not being recieved

Hi,

I'm trying to create an external intranet for our partners via Sharepoint. So I have the Sharepoint site up and now it says that I need to send invites via Outlook online, expanding Groups, going to that group and invite people.

I do this, but none of them get the invite email.

Am I doing something wrong or is it broken?
