Deleting Groups
Deleting Groups:
- All the info I have read states that after 30 days the group and "its contents" cannot be restored.
- What is considered "its contents"
- We use group emails for our clients to email us as a group. Once the 30 days is up, are the emails for the group still accessible?
SM6858 The key contents of the group are the group mail box that hold the emails and the group SharePoint site that hols all the files. If you delete the Group the group mail box and SharePoint site are soft deleted so the end user cannot see the group. 30 days after the Group is deleted the content is permanently deleted unless there was a retention policy/label on the content

Content is everything stored in the group mailbox and/or the corresponding group ODFB site collection. Once 30 days pass, all is lost.
