I'm not 100% sure what has and hasn't been rolled out to FR at this point. Here's my current experience.
- If I create a new group the group has the new home page
- Existing groups do not
- Create Site button in SharePoint Home does not do the new creation options
- External User access to Groups is implemented
- I can now create the new "Authoring canvas" Pages in existing and new SP Sites and All groups
- I cannot set them as Homepage
- Some Yammer integrations implemented (Office Docs)
My understanding is once completed there will be two non-exclusive methods available
- Ad Hoc Creation of Sites which are linked to the group system. Say bye bye to typical top down Information Architecture (IA) Design! Make Sites/Groups for all of the things.
- Admin creation of Non-Group Linked Site Collections. Supporting your existing IA design and allowing for more rigid Hierarchal systems.

- If I create a new group the group has the new home page - true
- Existing groups do not - true, but you should be able to Navigate to the SitePage and manually set a newly created modern page as the HomePage
- Create Site button in SharePoint Home does not do the new creation options - cannot comment, I've disabled this feature
- External User access to Groups is implemented - need to try this out as well
- I can now create the new "Authoring canvas" Pages in existing and new SP Sites and All groups - true
- I cannot set them as Homepage - I can, in the SitePages Library > Rightclick > Make Homepage
- Some Yammer integrations implemented (Office Docs) - cannot comment

- Admin creation of Non-Group Linked Site Collections. Supporting your existing IA design and allowing for more rigid Hierarchal systems. - looks like it.
I've added my comments in bold.

Hi Ivan,
Thanks for verifying my findings.
Just an update to say I've successfully been able to add the new responsive sitepages as homepages now so I'm aligned there.
In regards to the experience with External Groups access.
it's incredibly easy. Doesn't require any additional fiddling and from experience from an external's POV is easy also.
Caveat with External users in groups is that the environment you're trying to share from has to have the right AAD and SPO external settings turned on.

Microsoft
It's currently rolled out to First Release tenants only and we plan to expand to a worldwide rollout in the coming weeks- Susan McClementsIron Contributor
Office365 enable groupWe are in First Release and we do not see the Office 365 Resources on the side of our Yammer groups. What do we have to do to enable this?

Microsoft had some issues and I think it's delayed somewhat. Last Friday/Saturday the rollout was expanded to 100% for FR tenants.
I'm not sure when the GA release will be.
