Preservation Hold Library results in Search
Has anyone else had their community of users give feedback that results from the Preservation and Hold libraries are showing in their search results and it's getting in the way of search results for ...
According to this, the results from the Preservation Hold Library will only appear in the search results of a site administrator: https://joannecklein.com/2020/01/10/office-365-retention-policy-questions-from-the-field/

Never trusting anything on the internet I tested and confirmed that Preservation Hold Library results do only show to SharePoint Admins. While this is great for the UX overall, it does clutter my own admin search results at times I need it not to.
Fortunately, on the library's advanced settings you can change the "Allow items from this document library to appear in search results?" to No if you want to remove these results from even admin searches (personal preference).
