Practice Labs are helpful, but AZ-305 is heavily architecture-focused, so hands-on labs alone usually aren’t enough.
What typically works best is a mix of:
- Microsoft Learn modules (especially the design-focused sections)
- Reviewing reference architectures in Azure Architecture Center
- Taking a few scenario-based practice tests to validate reasoning
The exam is less about memorizing features and more about comparing trade-offs (governance, security, networking, identity, storage patterns, cost). If you can explain why one design is better than another, you’ll be ready.
