I also hope they fix it soon or at least provide a possibility to avoid this behaviour within an organization. However there is also a feature on the roadmap "https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/roadmap?filters=&searchterms=124816" let's see when this will be launched.
i noticed it seems to be fixed now. Label footers are added after each email rather than being bundled at the end of the thread
