Hi,

Windows Server 2025 is now supported, when will the corresponding pre-requisite article be updated?

https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/exchange/plan-and-deploy/prerequisites?view=exchserver-2019

And if Windows Server 2025 does not have the IIS 6 Management Console anymore:

https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-server/get-started/removed-deprecated-features-windows-server-2025

and CU14 does have it as requirement, does that mean it is since release of CU14 not necessary and was installed without any use?

regards

Norbert

I am also wondering why a visual C++ version that is no longer supported, are required to be installed.
I think it should either be supported or updated to a version that is supported.

We decided to not change prerequisites before SE CU1 as it could significantly complicate in-place scenarios or cause failures. We will therefore keep the same prerequisites for CU15 / SE RTM and will, when SE CU1 arrives, provide information on how to deal with old prerequsites that came over from in-place upgrades as well as SE RTM installations.
