User Writeback to AD

Does anyone have any info on the plans/status to provide User Account write back from Azure AD to AD? There are lots of people asking about this previously cancelled feature at https://feedback.azure.com/forums/169401-azure-active-directory/suggestions/6455327-sync-azure-active-directory-down-to-on-premises-ad but no answers so I though I would ask here.

 

Rob de Jong and/or Nasos_Kladakis can you provide any info?

    I don't believe anything is planned right now. cychua@microsoft.com owns AAD Connect and may know more.
