how to remove on premise AD when device is Azure Hybrid Joined
Hi,
After MDM is enabled and device are Hyrbrid joined and managed by Intune is there a way to remove these devices from on premise AD?

- There is no straight up move from Hybrid Azure AD Join to Azure AD Join.
It's a migration that you should undertake.

Can I retire hybrid-join device from intune. If yes, then I believe the retiring task has to take care to turn off the automatic scheduler that puts the device in AAD
Am I right ??
And secondly, will retiring task takes care of unjoining the device from
on-prem AD also ??

Hey, You can migrate from your hybrid environment to Entra Join only using Autopilot (Which will wipe your current settings and build a complete new environment) or use some 3rd party tools like Quest or Opsole Migrate.
They will do the device migration without re-image.
