Entra App Proxy app spontaneously reconfigured itself

We have an Entra App Proxy app providing access to an API. This app was intentionally configured with the "Pre authentication" setting set to "Passthrough". At some point in the past 24 hours, the pre authentication setting was reconfigured to "Microsoft Entra ID". There is no corresponding entry in the Audit Logs.

Has anyone else seen this happen?
