Enrollment types windowsAzureADJoin vs windowsAzureADJoinUsingDeviceAuth

I see quite a number of devices in Intune with the enrollment type 'windowsAzureADJoinUsingDeviceAuth' and was curious as to why they are there, as most are 'windowsAzureADJoin'.  Can anyone shed any light on this?
