Cross Tenant Synchronization User deletion issue
- Dec 14, 2023
Hi, Usman.
Have a read of the following, specifically and third "main" bullet point that talks about a sequence of events that result in the target tenant's account being disabled rather than deleted:
- What is a cross-tenant synchronization in Microsoft Entra ID? - Microsoft Entra ID | Microsoft Learn
What remains unclear for this specific scenario is whether deleting the source account after step 5 results in a target tenant deletion. My assumption is the delete would not occur given the sync relationship has already been broken, but that's nothing more than a hunch (which I cannot test).
Cheers,
Lain

It works but it takes 24 hours to delete from the target tenant. so patience is required 🙂
Thanks
