Create passkey from Microsoft Authenticator

Good afternoon,

We have conditional access policies in place for accessing corporate apps on iOS.

When attempting to create a passkey using the Microsoft Authenticator app, it prompts me to perform MFA, but after completing it, I receive a message saying, “You can’t get there from here”—the typical message displayed when access criteria for apps are not met.

My device is enrolled and compliant (I am able to access all resources), so this message should not be expected. Additionally, even if it weren’t compliant, shouldn’t the Authenticator app be exempt from conditional access policies? Our policy enforces access only through approved apps.
