B2B and External identity providers to access Sharepoint Online/OneDrive

      We are considering using an internal developed OAuth 2.0  identity provider. So when the users open out Sharepoint Online site/shared files they can log in using the user/password that they already know. Is B2B the tool that we need? Can also B2C be used?
