Status and Progress not rolling up
Hey there,
Very new to Viva Goals and have been playing around. I have 1 test objective with 1 key result and 2 actions aligned underneath. I've closed the 2 actions as 100% complete and status as...
Sarah1111 Hey, there are a few things to check to make this work
- Check your Admin settings
- Go to the OKR model configuration tab
- Under Initiatives, make sure Initiatives contribution is set to either:
- Initiatives contribute to the progress of their parent by default, OR
- Initiatives do not contribute to the progress of their parent by default
- Check your Key Result settings
- Go to the edit function for your Key Result
- Under Progress and Status, change 'Progress' to Update from children and 'Status' to Update based on the progress
- Select Save
- Because you have two child initiatives, you'll need to set how much each contributes to the overall key result. Back at the view for your Key Result:
- Select Manage contributions which is at the top-right of the Progress section.
- Choose the contribution percentage for each initiative
- Select Save
This should get you to the point where your testing should work. If you want your OKR to update based on the Key Results, you can do the steps in step 2 and 3.
