Deploy BizTalk Application Azure DevOps extension

Is the source code for the “Deploy BizTalk Application” Azure DevOps extension open source or will it be made available?

Can anyone confirm if this extension creates a shared folder and sets share permissions as one Reviewer has posted? If so, which of the deployment operations creates a shared folder and how is it used in deployment? Also, can a shared folder be instead set-up beforehand on the build/deploy agent server by server admins/security team and would the pipelines task use this existing share?
