BHM50 update without internet access not work any more

BHM50 gives instruction how to get update if no internet access

"

Copy both files ‘ChkBHMRep.exe’ and ‘Microsoft.WindowsAzure.Storage.dll’ from the BHM folder on a machine connected to the Net

- On the connected machine run ChkBHMRep.exe w/o specific params to download quickly the updated BHM components in a subfolder named “\Updated”

"

Maybe something is change because it does not work like that any more (it worked that way in earlier version)

Now following that instruction end to following error:

---------------------------
Error
---------------------------
Cannot check the BHM updates. Be sure that BHMCollect.exe is in the same folder than ChkBHMRep.exe
---------------------------
OK
---------------------------

It does not help to copy BHMCollect.exe as well because next some dll is missing.

How to get those updates for BHM50?

  • Sorry for the inconvenience. There was a change in update location related to security/authentication, where some older versions couldn't be updated. We created a new fresh installation/setup package. You can download the latest major version on download center and once you have this version installed, you should be able to perform online update again to get to the latest (minor) version.

Here is the BHM download center location:
    https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=43716

If you have BHM running on BizTalk server without internet and you want to get the latest online update, you can download and update BHM on another internet facing computer and copy/paste the changed files. You can sort files in installation folder by date time and see which files have been updated.

Hi, did you find a solution? I am not able to update from the BHM GUI on a server with Internet access either. I get error "403 Forbidden" when the check is performed.
