Implementation for Microsoft 365 for NGO
I have a question for a implementation time for a small NGO with 35 users as a greenfield implementation. I have received a offer there there is saying 10 to 12 weeks, with i think is a bit over the top.
Some information
35 users All Windows
10 pc'es old LPDA Linux domain (shall not be reused)
G-mail migrated to exchange
Nothing else fancy
Keep it clean and simple
Enablement session on skype and SharePoint for all users
simple training to one admin, for most comment task.
How long will that take..... I have something i my head there says up to 30 days implementation, and 7 days enablement and floor working with it's go life... Or will i be way off here

- First question here is about the amount of e-mail to be migrated...bear in mind that Google makes throttling and you will not be able to migrate at a high pace...are you only migration e-mail? Or do you need also to migrate Drive? Yo will also to plan how to onboard users to Office 365 taking into account they come from Google so you will need to make some adoption activities focused on using in a proper way Outlook, Skype, OneDrive and so on...IMHO, SharePoint should be something to come later once your customer is in Office 365
Yes, i am aware, it can take time to migrated mail, and i don't know the amount.
But according to the "plan" will it take 30 hours to configure the exchange server and then 30 hours more to migration of mails.
Only e-mail should be migrated. Today are the most files, stored on some local servers, so that should be a easy take.
I just need a best estimate, of how long time it will take. Everything should be, lest say out of the box, no need for any fancy requirements (because there not any requirements), based on what i provided
- Well, let's say you decide to split the users to be migrated into batches and you plan to migrate each batch over the weekends. If you decide to split the users in 3 batches, you will need three weeks to perform the migration + an additional week at least for adoption (and I'm not saying you are going to spend 5 full days on adoption matters)
