Status of Microsoft Places

I was really hoping to hear if this product is ever going to be released. We have such a need for this as we're RTO. Any updates?
No updates, sorry. We're all waiting together. If you need a solution urgently, I recommend Robin or AskUMA. They are the main competitors. Robin is consulting for Microsoft to help build MS Places. In that context, Microsoft is the newbie. Maybe try Robin for a year and then move to Places after they've worked out the early adoption issues.
