Microsoft Teams Chat vs Channel Posts
It's not great when developers and admins tell everyone to use software in a particular way, and add that it is best for the user, but don't ask what the user needs and wants. Then surprised when adoption doesn't follow.
Does "Post" have ALL the same features and modes of usage that Chat has, or are there significant limitations? (Notifications, Reply to earlier msgs, etc..)
Wouldn't it be better to replace "Post" with a default channel-specific Chat, or make them the same in features and usage modes..?
Granted, i don't run massive projects with masses of team members, but the "bulletin board" idea, instead of Chat, just doesn't make sense to me. Likely more for someone pre-occupied with shouting things to everyone, addressing no one, and adding little if any value, but wanting to seem like they do.
