Methodology for requesting new licenses
Community question: what is your process for end users requesting Microsoft licenses for new tools, particularly things that have just been released and folks may not yet be using? I am trying to fig...
Are you asking whether or not you should order licenses for tools that users haven't asked for? I would let the employees know that these new tools are available, and then as a group determine what benefits these tools could bring to your organization, if any.
I am more specifically talking about figuring out the right balance between pre-purchasing licenses vs buying them when needed. And then how users should go about requesting them (e.g. creating a form for tracking such requests or having them come in via HelpDesk ticket).
