Insights on how to boost adoption of Teams Platform
Hi all,
I am looking for ways to encourage users to leverage more and more Teams as a platform (by using Microsoft and Third-Party apps directly in Teams). What would be your recommendation to boost adoption of the Teams Platform? Thank you!

- Thank you very much to both of you! While these are great recommendations, I was actually looking for something a bit different 🙂 Indeed, we have rolled out Teams a few years back and we are now looking at how we could boost Teams PLATFORM usage, so that people use Microsoft or Third Party apps directly in Teams. Any advice?
- Engage with the departments, find out what works well for them or not and understand their needs, show them how their needs can be covered by Teams, identify the value add for the end users (WIIFM - what's in it for me), and use that to communicate and present use cases for Teams. Consider building a Champions Community (see resources on the MSFT adoption hub), so your end users can continue to learn from each other.

Some general tips from my personal experience in pushing more and more users to teams is
-Sit down With different departments and introduce teams and offer to help them get started with their own Team.
-Store data in Sharepoint and integrate with teams for easy access
-Find out how to translate current ways of working into Teams, for example approval flow, Microsoft Loop components or Whiteboard instead of using third party apps like "Mirro"
-Try and use Teams over email distribution lists for sharing company news or information.
