Unexpected re-activation of "Schedule Refresh" in Health Controls
As you may be aware, using "Schedule refresh" in Health Controls incurs costs. For this reason, I had disabled the refresh some time ago.
However, I have now observed for the second time via the Azure cost overview that this setting was overwritten. I suspect this may be related to a deployment. In our case, I am the only one with the rights to make such changes, so I can rule out manual interference by someone else.
I first noticed the issue through Azure, as costs were incurred again. Additionally, within Purview under "Schedule refresh", I observed that the settings seemed to have reverted to default — specifically, the time zone field was no longer populated.
To stop the costs and disable the refresh again, I first had to reselect a time zone before I could disable the schedule refresh.
I have already opened a case with Microsoft on this issue (ID: 2504100050001847), but I also want to raise awareness among other users so this behavior can be checked on their end as well.
Thanks for flagging this. This is a known issue, and we will have it resolved soon. The team is testing the fix as we speak. Stay tuned.
