Viva Topics still alive?

Writing was on the wall... what the heck. This was one of the best new features that could have given a huge breath of life to SharePoint's aging knowledge-management functionality. Would have been way better to just make this a native SharePoint feature that you get bundled with the suite than to kill it off entirely. What a waste 😢

"Viva Topics will be retired on February 22, 2025, and will no longer be accessible. Existing Topic pages will continue to exist as standard SharePoint pages, and the Topics Center will be converted into a standard SharePoint site. Users should pivot their knowledge management strategy to other tools in Microsoft 365, such as SharePoint, Viva Answers, Copilot, and Microsoft Search.
