Old VM to New VM - now ultra disk will not attach.
Finishing a Gen 1 to Gen 2 VM migration,
a particular VM had an "ultra" data disk attached and now it will not attach to the Gen 2 VM.
In fact, it wont attach to any VM.
In fact, the supported sizes for ultra disks cannot be found.
note
the original Gen 1 VM is deleted
with the "ultra" disk, it's not possible to copy, download, or snapshot.
Any thoughts how I can capture the contents off this ultra disk?

You can try to make a snapshot of the disk, change the storage type and then mount it to another vm.
