Microsoft to acquire Deis to help companies innovate with containers
Containers have been at the forefront of cloud transformation in recent years, and for good reason: Container technologies let organizations more easily build, deploy and move applications to and from the cloud. Very interesting announcement here is Deis own blog post as well -https://deis.com/blog/2017/deis-to-join-microsoft/. The bit that stood out for me was this line -
"We look forward to making Azure the best place to run containerized workloads."
