Corrupted VT+ transaction files
We are a small accounting company using VT+ Transaction on a local drive synchronized with OneDrive for backup and file storage. A few days ago when we tried to open the application, we suddenly started receiving the following error messages: Run Time Error 0 and Run Time Error 440, and the program does not start. According to VT+ support the program files are corrupted and the data can only be restored up to the year 2022, as the more recent backups are also affected. Somehow the system is overriding our backups, which makes the latest ones unusable. Any advice what could cause that and how to resolve the issue. Thanks

The occurrence of Run Time Error 0 and Run Time Error 440 in VT Transaction+ typically signifies corruption within the program files or associated data files. Such issues often arise when local files are synchronized with cloud storage platforms such as OneDrive, which may inadvertently overwrite or lock files during synchronization processes.
According to official guidance from VT Software, if runtime errors prevent the application from launching, a complete reinstallation of the program is recommended. Additionally, the File > Maintenance > Check For Errors/Repair utility within VT Transaction+ should be used to identify and correct data inconsistencies. In parallel, Microsoft’s official OneDrive documentation advises utilizing Version History to restore earlier, uncorrupted versions of files in cases where synchronization has resulted in corruption.
