Using a Proxy outlook address, but still got "too many times user name or password".
Hi all For months I was getting the dreaded "too many times user name or password" and a check of attempt "sign ins" showed numerous attempts to sign in from IP addresses all over the world. In oth...
An update, I checked my "sign-in activity" under Security ... the only recent sign in attempts were all by me once/maybe twice a day and were all successful. There have not been any failed attempts from IP addresses across the world (original problem)
So why I got locked out with the "too many times user name or password" error is a mystery.
