Thread view options
Since such option is not in global settings, is it possible to make "Threaded/Linear view" drop-down in addition, or, if that's not possible, instead of Sort By.
By the way, default Most Liked in Sort By is not very useful.

Same opinion from me. Techcommunity must have to see newest thread.

SergeiBaklan As you may have seen in this update Microsoft Tech Community Release Notes – 11/15/24 we have now made the default sort order across the community in comments to be newest to oldest and we have also made it so you can override that in your settings.
Is there somewhere else you would like to see us make this change, please share!Allen , that's much better than Most liked, thank you. However, I'd prefer here Threaded / Linear drop-down as it is done in Acrobat Community which is also based on Aurora. In addition they have Jump on last message button. If only Threaded / Linear won't be in global settings.
As a comment, it looks like right after the question we have Marked as solution message (if exists) and after that in sorted thread it stays on the thirst place independently of sorting. Didn't check carefully, but if so could we keep only one of these?
Finally I see now number of unread messages. Perhaps that was from very beginning but I didn't catch. Anyway, very useful, thank you.

SergeiBaklan Thanks for this, unfortunately thats not an option in Aurora. The adobe community is on the classic UI.
Having now sorting in global settings
perhaps we may remove Sort By drop-down from the threads

Same idea from me. I like newest thread as default option instead of Most Like😄
I'd like Threaded/Linear drop down instead of Sort By, ideally both. And yes, sorted by Newest since Show more is very annoying. However, if the return back to paged layout, have Oldest by default.
It all depends on what we have. Current version is very limited edition compare to what we had before. If all settings as before will be returned most probably it'll be no such questions.
