hi basnettj here you go..I understand what you mean about the Excel export format from Teams assignments. By default, the export lists data vertically (one assignment per row), which can be hard to read when you’re tracking multiple students.
At the moment, Teams doesn’t offer a built-in option to change that layout directly, but there’s a quick workaround:
Once you’ve opened the Excel file, you can use PivotTable or Excel’s “Transpose” feature (Copy → Paste Special → Transpose) to flip the data so that students appear in rows and assignments across columns.
Alternatively, you can use Power Query in Excel to reshape the data automatically each time you export.
