Stuff missing in new format

The old forum format had a couple of features that no longer appear, at least I can't find them.

First, the post/reply date is only a date, the post/reply time is missing. Can we get it back?

Second, there was an indicator showing when someone was active on the forum (little green dot). That was very helpful in evaluating whether the discussion is live and therefore dynamic (e.g. quick exchange). Can we get the indicator back?

Thank you for the feedback, genuinely appreciate it.  I have to say I agree with you I often find myself wanting not only the how long ago someone posted but what exact time. I will make sure thats on our roadmap.

The member online status light, while interesting feature was woefully inaccurate. You would often find it showed users online who had not physically done anything in the community for a while. I think it does have a use case, so we will add it to our backlog, but maybe we can do something better with it? maybe integrate it with teams or something? Just a thought..

Hi John! I totally agree those features really added value to the forum experience. Having the exact time on posts and replies made it easier to follow discussions in real-time, especially when multiple people were involved. And the online indicator (the green dot) was a quick way to gauge if a thread was still active and likely to get responses right away. Bringing back these features would definitely improve the forum’s interactivity and flow. Hopefully, the forum team considers reintroducing them for a smoother, more dynamic experience!

      Allen,

Thanks for the feedback. With regard to the member online status, I didn't realize it lacked accuracy. It seemed to work fine for the MS Project tech forum, I wish we had something like it on the Project Answers forum where I am a moderator. As far as integrating a member online status indicator with teams, it won't help in my case since I don't use teams.

      John
