Can I 'disabled' the staging server this way.... and then reinstall it to allow for the Import option to be utilized?
From my knowledge, you have to uninstall and reinstall the staging server to allow for import of configuration. It should be just uninstall from Programs in control panel, reboot and then reinstall and load configuration again.
