Registering for the Microsoft AI-300 exam in beta mode for a date after the beta period?

If I am registering for the AI 300 and AI 103 exams when they are in beta mode and choosing an exam date in July or August 2026, if the exam is released as a live version (out of beta mode), would I have to pay once again to re-register for the live version? Can I still take the exam if I'd registered for it when it was in the beta phase? I will be paying the regular price and not using the discount that was made available to those who signed up early on to take the beta mode exam.

Your registration remains valid even if your scheduled exam date is after the beta announcement period and the exam goes live before you actually take it.

Also, if you pass the beta exam, it counts exactly the same as passing the live exam. You do not need to retake it once the exam leaves beta.

The main differences with beta exams are usually:

You may not receive your score immediately

Results are often released after the exam goes live

Question wording/content can still be adjusted during the beta process

And yes, you can absolutely take the beta exam at full price if the discounted beta seats are already gone.
